Operation Seagate-the invasion of Baja California
The annexation of Baja California is a necessity for our naval access to the Pacific Ocean. At the conclusion of the 1848 war with Mexico, Baja California was to be part of the United States acquisition per the land settlement agreement. This peninsula was inadvertently excluded as the line was drawn from Yuma, Arizona to San Diego. President Polk fired the negotiator and never paid him. The Confederation is simply claiming what was ours and paid for with 1848 American blood.
