In “While Uncle Sam Slept,” takes General Homer Tubbs’ journey, from his uncomplicated elementary years to graduating from West Point then culminated as the army general, organizing the separation of America; all for the cause and in the name of the Confederation of States. A consensus, among those of similar rank and station, selected him as their plan-master for the delicate task of developing and crafting the words informing the Joint Chiefs of Staff that this disunion is not open for discussion as it was non-negotiable. Within this pivotal moment, the White House communications office was fed the same transmission in real time.
